Aspire not to have more but to be more – St Oscar Romero

Thursday 30th April

PE:

Join Joe Wicks again for his daily PE lesson.

Don't forget that you can video your own PE lesson and email it to:

brunel@stpauls.cheshire.sch.uk if you would like it to feature one morning.

English:

LO: To rewrite a story problem using new ideas.

Continuing our unit of work using 'The Game', you need to follow the instructions in the document to re-write a section of the story.  You can ignore the very top part above the lady's picture, but need to read the rest, from "It's now your turn to be an author..."

You will read the story's problem, think of other possible problems, complete a "Your Ideas" table, then follow the sentence patterns on the last page using your own ideas instead of the story ideas.

If you have been following the Podcast instead, we are writing stories over there this week too.  I'd like to hear you leaving an audio padlet recording and having a go at submitting some writing!

Maths

Year 5 LO: Subtracting decimals with a different number of decimal places

Year 6 LO: Solve some mixed problems

Watch the videos for your year group and have a go at the questions.  The first page is for everyone to do, but have a go at the second page if you whizzed through it and want a challenge!

Then mark your work.  :)

Spanish

LO: To use greetings and introduce yourself

Click on the link below, to have a go at the second of the Spanish lessons in the block of work: introducing yourself! You will need to use your voice - why not record yourself and send it in for the class webpage?

Art: To draw in Japanese Manga style. Since I know some of you love a bit of Japanese art, I thought we'd have a one off Manga lesson today! Don't forget to post your work. :)
