Wednesday 15th July

Good morning Drake class. Today is the last day I will be setting your home learning and I am a little sad that I won't get to see you all but I have been so proud of all your fantastic work you have completed and sent in for me to see it has filled my bucket to the top! I hope you have a fabulous Summer break and I look forward to seeing your smiling faces in September! laugh

** Your school reports will be available for you to collect from the school office from 1pm today and also your learning books will be available for you to take home. We would like to say a huge well done for the fabulous work and effort you have all put in this year which made writing your reports such a pleasure for us!**

Today our 'Wonderful Wednesday Word' is being celebrated by Mrs Smith on zoom. Please go to Tapestry for the meeting ID. Please make sure that you log in with your child's first name and last initial , so that it will be clear who is joining the meeting, to ensure that the meeting is secure.  Please keep your microphone muted  (until it's time to sing or join in prayers), Enjoy and I hope to see you singing along! smiley

You have filled my bucket with your fabulous home learning!

Today we are going to read 'A vet's week' again. Please remember to read the sounds, Green Words and Red Words before reading the book.  If this book is too tricky you can choose one of the red or green books. As today is the second time you are reading this book it will hopefully be a little easier and we can concentrate on reading more fluently. When you have read it have a think about what it would be like if you were a vet? What would you do? Would you like to be a vet? What else would you like to do when you are older? Draw a picture of a job you might like to do when you are older and write a sentence describing what you would like to do and why. smiley
