We have been so impressed with your photos and videos of everyone practising their sounds and joining in with the Read Write Inc videos. Here are today's sounds.

If you have completed Set 2 sounds, follow the red words 1 lesson and the hold a sentence 1 lesson. You are doing a great job at this so keep going!

 

Reading

Today please have a second read of either the Ditty sheet from yesterday 'pup in the mud' or the ditty story 'pop'. Today try and encourage your child to read a little more fluently. You can model reading the sentence before your child and let them copy you to to help them hear the sentence. 

Handwriting

I have seen some great letter formation practise this week, if you fancy having a look at some handwriting practise you can click on the link below to explore how to write letters and numbers. You could then copy some of the letters and numbers.

Reception maths

Today you will be watching session 2 on the video link. There is an activity about the composition of 7 to follow. 

Year 1 maths

Today you will be continuing to learn how to subtract by counting back.
