  • Holy Week 2022

    We have celebrated the events of Holy Week through a series of assemblies this week led by the children. KS1 dramatised the story of Palm Sunday. Sycamore class explained the story of Maundy Thursday through music, movement, readings and the washing of the feet. Oak class told the story of Good Friday through readings, first person accounts, prayer and a time of personal reflection. We were all very proud of the way the the children joined in through their prayerful and respectful attitudes. 

  • First holy Communion

    Congratulations to all the children in Year 3 who made their first Holy Communion. We will keep them all in our prayers as they begin this special journey with Christ. 
  • Stanley Head

    Stanley Head residential trip

     

    The children in Keller class have had a great few days at Stanley Head centre. They have been on a river study, made Stone Age dens, cooked popcorn over fire, archery, challenge wall, team building games, a nightlife and enjoyed hot chocoloate and biscuits by the campfire. A great experience for all involved!

  • PBuzz concert

    Well done to all the children who too part in the PBuzz concert with Poynton Youth Brass Band on Friday evening. It was a great evening and it's amazing to see how far all of you have come in learning a new instrument. For an extract on video, please see the music area of Keller class's web page. 
  • Starehe

    We were delighted to welcome back students from the Starehe Girls' and Boys' schools in Nairobi, Kenya. We Were treated to singing and dancing and we were all up on our feet joining in! The students also spent time playing and chatting during playtime and lunchtime. In classes, we were able to ask questions and learn about the similarities and differences between our cultures. We have been promoting the British Value of mutual respect through our first hand experience!
  • Lyme Park

    On  Tuesday, 12th June, Keller class visited Lyme PHall to learn about local history. The children had the opportunity to learn about the different lifestyles of the house owners and their families and also the servants. 
  • Keller Barnswood

    Children in Keller class had an amazing camping experience at Barnswood Scout Camp this week. We had plenty of sunshine so the children were able to enjoy a variety of outdoor experiences: den building, the low ropes course, team building games, singing round the campfire, orienteering, art with nature and plenty of free time to explore and play. Well done to everyone for taking part with great enthusiasm. For some, it was the first time away from home, so a great milestone in their lifelong learning journey!

    Congratulations to all our children who made their First Holy Communion at St. Paul’s church on Saturday 19th May. We pray that this is the beginning of a lifelong journey in strengthening your faith. 
  • Quad Kids

    Quad Kids Tournament

     

    Well done to our Year 4 team who displayed great teamwork and athletic skills at the All Hallows Quad Kids tournament. each team member took part in a 400m run, a 50m sprint, a standing jump and a throwing event. Out of 6 schools, their combined scores earned them a gold medal!

  • Cross country

    Well done to all our Key Stage runners who took part in the Cross country competition at Moorfields Primary School on Thursday. All our team members did well, especially considering that they were running on the hottest day of the year so far! A special mention to Rose from Year 4 who came 3rd overall in the Year 3 and 4 race: a great achievement!
