Aspire not to have more but to be more – St Oscar Romero
Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
We have celebrated the events of Holy Week through a series of assemblies this week led by the children. KS1 dramatised the story of Palm Sunday. Sycamore class explained the story of Maundy Thursday through music, movement, readings and the washing of the feet. Oak class told the story of Good Friday through readings, first person accounts, prayer and a time of personal reflection. We were all very proud of the way the the children joined in through their prayerful and respectful attitudes.
Stanley Head residential trip
The children in Keller class have had a great few days at Stanley Head centre. They have been on a river study, made Stone Age dens, cooked popcorn over fire, archery, challenge wall, team building games, a nightlife and enjoyed hot chocoloate and biscuits by the campfire. A great experience for all involved!
