I know you are all working very hard on your challenges but we do really enjoy seeing what you are up to so if you can please send us some pictures of your work to our class email drake@stpauls.cheshire.sch.uk or you can blog to even just say hello to your friends or show us what you have been doing! smiley 

 

Today is International Batten Disease Awareness Day, our school has a little orange flavour to raise awareness and this year mixed with a little blue to thank our key workers also. Below is a simple art activity you might like to do.  smiley

Phonics

Continue to learn your sounds, words and spellings by completing the following 4 Read, Write Inc. lessons:

  • Set 3 Speed Sound Lesson - today's sound you will review is 'aw'
  • Set 3 Spelling Lesson
  • Reading Red Words 2 
  • Reading Longer words - you will read Green words focusing on the sounds aw and or

Each video is only 10/15 minutes long and they are available to watch from 9.30. You can watch these anytime within 24 hours.

Reading

After completing your Read, Write Inc. lessons please read your chosen book for the second time - either 'No Way!' or 'A Hungry Fox'. Remember the second read of the book should be more fluent with less sounding out. Once you have read the book complete the comprehension activities which can be found at the back of the book titled 'questions to chat about'. You can either discuss the questions or write the answers in your Home Learning book.
